LIBOLON sponsor the “Fashionable Environmental Protection Creativity Contest – Design Contest of Environmental Protection Products” 2008-03-05
Because the abnormal weathers caused by global warming have continued to affect our lives and natural ecology, not the life and properties of humans are under threats, many animal species, such as polar bears and penguins, are facing the danger of extinction. Therefore, maintaining the natural environment and harmony of natural ecology of the earth, and brining a bright future to the earth is the goal to be achieved by all businesses while pursuing sustainable management.
Over the few years, Libolon has dedicated to environmental protection activities. Besides developing various energy-saving products, such as RePETTM and EcoyaTM, its factories have tried to establish energy-saving measures through production improvement and routines works, in order to incorporate environmental protection to our daily life. In 2008, Libolon has sponsored the design of fabrics made by RePETTM, which is a kind of fiber reclaimed from recycled plastic bottles, in coordination with the “Fashionable Environmental Protection Creativity Contest – Design Contest of Environmental Protection Products”. It is aimed to contribute to the environmental production and recycling actions in Taiwan, and promote environmental production into our daily life.
